Stupid car alarm on the street goes off at 5am, 3 times! So then by the time my dinky phone alarm rings at 6am I kinda don't hear it or choose to not hear it or something. Finally wake up at 7am and the first thing in my mind is "Darn, they're gonna kill me!!"

So we finally get to their house at around 8:30, only 1.5 hours late :) (We had to also go to Glenview and pick up Alex, Strat's sis who was coming to Michigan with us all).

The drive to Ann Arbor was hilarious... Strat sat in the middle of his sister and I in the back and the 2 of them fought like it was back in 5th grade; pushing, leaning, poking :) Ahhh 2 mature 30 year olds in their prime :)

The baby shower was cute - lots of 30s and 40s couples - pregnant or with kids or something. I was definitely the youngest person there, well except for the little toddlers running around. I wonder if that will be me someday, sitting and talking about what kinds of activities or playschools or latest baby products are out there :) We played football with a 3 year old though... so cute.

Scott & Holly's house is gorgeous! So lucky they are :) In any case, had dinner at a Thai restaurant and ate mango & sticky rice - basically pulut with santan and mango. Then stopped by to pick up Al from Strat's aunts house which i can't even begin to describe. Now we just have to plan another trip to stay at that house!

The drive home was okay - lots of rain and lighting and wet roads... but we had a good time. Haven't driven in a car for that long in a while :)

Thunderstorms by the lake... ahhh joy :) If only I had a waterproof backpack, I would be even happier. Power went out in the library too.

Potential plans for tonight, All You Can Eat Chocolate Buffet at the Peninsula downtown with Boris and Ami. Same plans backfired last week coz we had no reservations and ended up eating at Jake's (great food!). Dunno if I wanna go to the Choc. Buffet... feels like it's the epitomy of indulgence and gluttony and I kinda feel bad sitting in front of a chocolate buffet when other people can't even buy real food :-\ Plus I don't even like eating too much chocolate anyway!

Dunno... will probably end up going... we'll see. Off to the EnvEUS election.

Yesterday at Hobart's Annual Emily Awards Banquet Roselyn gave a sweet sad speech about me and we got senior gifts... also I won and got honorable mention for 3 categories:

So I'm thinking maybe I will actually write in this more. Never was able to keep a journal or diary... but since I waste so much time online maybe an online blog is really what's perfect for me. And I don't care if people read it or not... I guess it'll just be for me :)

Another reason I figured I'd write is the fact that I will probably be leaving the US forever by September and I want to hold on to as much of it as I can. And we all know how bad my meory is... so if something's not written down, very very small chance of me remembering :)

So do I take this finance job at Primerica/Citigroup or not? :( Do I want a more free summmer and only take classes and work at AT or do I wanna be kept busy (which is the way I function best) and learn about finance too... oh decisions decisions.

Ran into Frank in the lab today... a quick summary of new things happenign in Frank's life:
1) His parents have a pond in their home in Zionsville now... with a giant big fat frog about the size of your hand and other little frogs
2) Frank got a "ticket of arrest"
